Defining a Bad Beat

My hand was AdQd and went all in because I was short stack. One guy called he had A8 unsuited.

Flop Xd-A-Xd... still leading with a higher kicker and nut flush draw!

Turn 8d... i got my flushes!! 2 pair for the other guy!

River 8... all hopes crushed... lucky guy! a full house on the river!!!

I laughed it off... it was a good hand until the river came ---&!@#&!@#@!@&!!!

Ouch... yeap you were 4-1 preflop, improved a bit on the flop and kept the lead, and was at 95% to win unless he hit his 2 outer.

Then again... bad beats happen more to players who know what they are doing and are able to put all their money in when they have the best hand.

all you can do is get your money in when you think you have the best hand. Of course the other person is thinking exactly the same thing! LOL
